SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tamaqua was the setting for the Sept. 7, 2013 wedding of Rebecca Sincavage, daughter of Charles and Denise Sincavage of Lake Hauto, and Daniel Hallowich, son of MaryGrace Hallowich of Mayfield and Stanley Hallowich Jr. of Jermyn. The double ring ceremony was conducted by the Rev. William Linkchorst. Susan Baddick presided at the organ.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Samantha Pitts of Philadelphia as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included the bridegroom's sister, Jamie Lastauskas of Eynon, Janelle Klitsch of Schuylkill Haven and Tiffany Yuken of Miami, Fla. Grace Lastauskas, niece of the bridegroom, served as flower girl.Best man honors were performed by Robert Cochrane of Scranton. Ushers included the bride's brother, Geoffrey Sincavage of Lake Hauto, Kyle Stephens of Ashburn, Va., and EJ Lastauskas of Eynon, the bridegroom's brother-in-law.The couple received family and friends at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton before honeymooning in Antigua.The new Mrs. Hallowich is a 2005 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She is employed as a charge nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.Mr. Hallowich is a 2002 graduate of Bishop O'Hara High School in Dunmore. A career firefighter, he is employed by the City of Scranton.The couple resides in Scranton.
