Summit Hill police are charging a Lancaster man following an assault in the borough.

According to borough police, at 11:15 p.m., on Aug. 4, officers were called to a residence along West White Bear Drive for an assault.Upon arrival, they found that Eugene Danner, 55, of 529 Fremont, St., Lancaster, had assaulted a female at the residence. The victim sustained injuries during the assault and required medical attention at a local hospital.Danner has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
