An Amber Alert for a 4-year-old girl in Palmerton has been canceled because she was found safe Saturday night.

Authorities in Carbon County reported that the alleged abductor, identified as Timothy Simcsuk, was found and arrested just before 11 p.m. yesterday.

Reports state that Simcsuk and 4-year-old Kyleigh Simcsuk were located in a motel in the Quakertown area.

The abduction occurred on Delaware Avenue earlier that evening after Timothy Simcsuk assaulted the child's caretaker.

Timothy Simcsuk will face charges when he returns to Carbon County.
