Winter Wonderland in the Park will be held from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, in Memorial Park, located on East 10th Street, Jim Thorpe. There will be a Christmas tree lighting, holiday crafts for children and a visit with Santa Claus. Hot chocolate and cookies will also be distributed to guests.

The event is free and open to the public, but donations to the evening's sponsors, Jim Thorpe Police and Jim Thorpe Community Watch, are appreciated.
