The 30th Annual Pennsylvania Christmas and Gift Show will be open from Wednesday, Dec. 4 to Sunday, Dec. 8 at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, with over 750 vendor booths.
Some of the many thousands of gift ideas include arts and crafts, clothing, jewelry, leather goods, toys, flowers, tree ornaments, stocking stuffers and handcrafted furniture. Many are hard-to-find gift items that can't be purchased elsewhere.There will also be 100-foot train display sponsored by the Reading Company Technical and Historical Society, that will include a platform with three to five sets of trains running simultaneously. The show offers many decorated Christmas trees all with different themes.Santa will be there to hear holiday wishes from children and will be available for photos.The free Children's Workshop features a large "Make N Take" area where children can make their own handmade gift for Mom and Dad.There is a generaladmission charge with reduced rates for senior citizens, as well as reduced rates for all after 4 p.m. There is no admission charge for children under 12 when accompanied by a payingadult.The PA Farm Show Complex is located at Cameron and Maclay streets in Harrisburg (two blocks south of the Cameron Street exit #67-A from I-81).Show hours are 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
