Carbon County township officials heard a strong message to control development in their townships at the Carbon County Township Officials Annual Convention held Saturday night at the Mahoning Valley Fire Company.

Township officials representing Banks, East Penn, Franklin, Kidder, Lehigh, Lower Towamensing, Mahoning, Packer, Penn Forest and Towamensing attended.
