Thomas J. Karpovich, 61, of Morea, is facing charges following a traffic stop in Rush Township on Sept. 14. Karpovich was stopped on Pine Creek Drive at 12:28 a.m.

Exhibiting signs of intoxication, Karpovich was transported to Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for blood tests. Test results indicate a .129 percent blood alcohol content. The legal limit is .08 percent.He will be charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and several traffic offenses.
