A Monroe County driver was involved in a crash in Lehigh County in which the other driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).
State police at Foglesville said Marian Lastovicka, 45, of Saylorsburg, was traveling along Interstate 78 in Upper Saucon Township, about 10:08 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, and slowing down in a construction zone. His 2008 Mazda was struck in the rear by a 2006 Cadillac driven by Daniel Miller, 62, of Breinigsville. No one was reported injured.Troopers said Miller showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. He will also be charged with motor vehicle code violations, troopers added.
