Contractors are in the first stages of construction on
PennDOT's SR309 Lizard Creek Bridge Replacement Project in Snyders, West Penn Township. Contractors have already demolished the northbound side of the bridge, with northbound traffic being limited to one lane. Kevin E. Milnes, spokesman forPennDOT, said construction started about a week ago and is expected to be completed by November of next year. Milnes added that Deblin Incorporated, Mechanicsburg, was awarded the contract, which was about $2.7 million.
