In addition to the criminal cases handled last week, the Tamaqua Police Department issued a total of 22 tickets to motorists who were traveling above the posted speed limit.

Two motorists were also charged with driving without a valid operator's license one was a first offense, while the other was the fourth offense for that particular driver.
