A 20-year-old Carbondale woman has won the 1986-87 Miss Pocono title at the 14th annual scholarship pageant held at Genetti Best Western Playhouse, Hazleton.

Faith Ann Liuzzo, a Marywood College student, wowed the judges with a ragtime ballet to a Scott Joplin composition in the talent segment of the competition.Liuzzo will compete in the Miss Pennsylvania scholarship pageant next June in Altoona, a Miss America preliminary.Liuzzo is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Liuzzo.
