A woman was reportedly injured during a one-vehicle accident Friday at about 1 p.m. in Franklin Township. The accident happened on Route 209 about two miles east of the Pa. Turnpike interchange. It was reported her car went off the road, struck a fence, and came to rest in a field. When it struck the fence, she reportedly impaled her shoulder on a fence post. She was flown to St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem by PennStar helicopter.
