A state police vehicle was struck while responding to an incident on Aug. 23 at 9:48 p.m.

Trooper Justin Magluilo was driving a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria to an incident with emergency lights and siren activated. His vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by James Hunsicker, 32, of Lehighton. Hunsicker was attempting to turn left off the road while Magluilo passed. Hunsicker was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche.Neither driver was injured. Both cars were driven from the scene.
