The Marian Catholic High School Band, under the direction of Michael Brimmer, began its new school year with a performance in the Schuylkill County Firefighter's Convention in Mahanoy City. The band was among six county high school bands invited to perform. Marian's schedule includes parades in Tamaqua and St. Clair as well as performing at home and away football games.
