State police at Frackville reported investigating a one vehicle crash about 12:55 p.m. on Sunday along SR54 in Ryan Township.

Troopers said Carmen M. Cruz, 50, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2001 Subaru Forester eastbound when she suddenly veered into and through the westbound lane. The vehicle went onto the north berm and went through a dirt area before striking some small trees. The vehicle then went up an embankment before coming to rest.Cruz and her passengers, Patricia Santana, 40, and a three-year-old female, also from Mahanoy City, were all not injured.
