A pretty wedding was celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul's Church, Lehighton, at 8 a.m. today when Kenneth Schmidt, of Hacklebernie, and Valeria Conrad, of Packerton, were joined in wedlock by the pastor, the Rev. Charles E. Saas.

A large number of friends witnessed the ceremony.A wedding breakfast followed at the home of the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Beck of Packerton.The young couple left to spend their honeymoon in Atlantic City, N.J., and New York City.
