A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident that occurred at a county store.

State police at Frackville said Dorothy Brenneman, 31, of Ashland, has been charged following an incident at the Sears store in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township.Troopers said Brenneman placed a necklace and a pair of earrings into her handbag and left the store without paying for the items. She was confronted by store security after leaving the store.
