State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a crash in a Schuylkill County construction zone. The crash occurred about 5:34 a.m. today, Aug. 2, along SR61, a tenth of a mile south of Coal Mountain Road in West Brunswick Township.

Troopers said Bryan Hawk, 36, of Pottsville, was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima southbound in the single lane construction area when his vehicle impacted an attenuator along the west side. After impact the car turned clockwise and the left rear impacted the concrete divider along the east side, where it came to rest.Hawk sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Reading Hospital for treatment. The car was towed from the scene.
