St. Meed's United Methodist Church in Nesquehoning has adopted a program that provides stuffed cuddly puppies for the sick. The ladies of the church will donate a puppy, named "Woofi," to anyone who is fighting a serious illness. The present supply of Woofi pups at the church were purchased through funds raised at rummage sales.
