State police at Frackville are investigating an incident in which someone set 44 bails of mulch on fire.

Troopers said the mulch was on a flatbed trailer parked along Burma Road, east of N. Price Street, in Blythe Township. The fire also damaged the deck of the trailer and tie down straps. The property is owned by Valley Seeding, of Sugarloaf, Luzerne County.The incident occurred about 9 p.m. on July 10, troopers said.
