A Jim Thorpe man is facing charges following an incident that occurred on Feb. 16, about 1:22 a.m.

Borough police said they were dispatched to the American Legion, located at 304 W. Sixth St., for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. On scene they were informed by Marcy Hunsicker, that she was in the Legion with her boyfriend, Doug Lease, when her ex-husband, Dwayne N. Hunsicker, 43, of 173 Behrens Road, entered the bar area.She said she felt uncomfortable about the situation and left with Lease. She said her ex-husband followed them outside and tried to get Lease to fight him, which he refused.She then claimed Hunsicker went over to her 2013 Hyundai sedan and kicked the upper portion of the driver's side door causing a dent and paint damage. Damages were estimated at $1,500.Police said Hunsicker was charged with one misdemeanor, two count of criminal mischief, and two summary counts of disorderly conduct.
