State police at Frackville are investigating a theft from vehicle and criminal mischief to a vehicle incidents.

The theft from vehicle incident occurred on a lot at the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township. Troopers said Joseph Michaels, of Barnesville, reported medication was removed from his vehicle sometime between noon on June 20 and 9 a.m. June 21.Troopers said the mischief to vehicle incident was reported by Daniel Bakerofskie, 51, of Girardville. He reported sometime between 2 and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, someone threw a rock at his 2002 Chevrolet Suburban causing the rear right window to be smashed out. The vehicle was parked at 7 W. Odgen St., Girardville, troopers said.
