The market value of the Schuylkill County Employees Retirement Fund continues to rise, thanks to an active Wall Street stock market, as it reached a new high.

County Controller Cristy Joy, who serves as secretary of the Schuylill County Retirement Board, announced at Wednesday's monthly meeting held at the courthouse in Pottsville that the market value of the fund as of April 30 was at $111,765,617, a new record high.Joy also reported five members received refunds totaling $28,628.
