Tamaqua and Rush Elementary schools held a mini-Relay For Life recently at the school to bring attention to the upcoming Relay For Life planned for June 21-22 at Panther Valley Football Stadium in Lansford. The children were given time to run or walk around the school track. Every year the Tamaqua and Rush Elementary schools use the mini-relay and other functions to raise awareness and donations for the Carbon-Tamaqua Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
