A two-car crash happened at about 8:35 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Route 209 and the Route 903 bridge in Jim Thorpe.

According to Jim Thorpe police, a Dodge Stratus was being driven on Route 209 by a Jim Thorpe man from Nesquehoning toward Jim Thorpe. The man attempted to turn left onto the bridge when it collided with a Toyota pickup truck being driven by a Weatherly man on Route 209 from Jim Thorpe toward Nesquehoning.The driver and two passengers in the car all had minor injuries.The driver of the pickup was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. The extent of his injuries was unknown as of late Friday.Police have not released the names of those involved in the crash.
