State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said an Effort man lost the registration plate from his vehicle while he was driving in Monroe County on April 20.

The victim, Juan Bolivan Gavilanes, told police the plate, bearing the registration No. HoB8312, was mounted on his 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport when it became lost between the Stroud Mall parking lot and his residence.The incident happened between 2 and 3:30 p.m. on the above date.
