Two speakers will be present during a meeting of the Lehighton 9/12 project Thursday evening.

The meeting will be held in the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Building at 7 p.m. Coffee and dessert will be served at 6:30 p.m.Ronnie Delbacco, vice chairman of the Lehigh Valley Tea Party, will speak about Common Core, the socialistic take over of our schools which came in the stimulus package.Also, Paul Saunders, an executive board member of the Lehigh Valley Tea Party and the Leader of their Energy and Environment Action Committee, will offer remarks.Saunders worked as a senior process engineer for 32 years in the semiconductor and opto-electronic device manufacturing industry before retiring in 2003.He earned a M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1977.He has been studying philosophy and ideas as the fundamental drivers of history since 1971.
