A burglary occurred at the residence of Neil Kershner, 79, of 345 Wild Creek Drive, Penn Forest Streams, Penn Forest Township, sometime between April 6-11, according to state police at Fern Ridge.

The crime occurred as unknown criminals forced open the front door of the residence. A Savage .270 rifle, Remington .22 rifle, High Country bow and arrow, flat screen television, and various jewelry were stolen.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
