Tamaqua police have cited Melissa Baer, 19, of 27 Center St., Tamaqua, following an incident at 73 Hunter St., on March 20.

Officer Brent Getz was dispatched to the residence at 11:05 p.m. for a disturbance. At the scene he spoke with the residents, who reported that Baer had been threatening family members earlier in the day.She reportedly returned to the residence at 11 p.m. and caused a disturbance outside. When a resident opened the door to see what was happening, Baer allegedly punched him in the face. Witnesses confirmed Baer's actions.She was cited for harassment.
