A Lansford woman is facing charges after allegedly attempting to steal merchandise from Wal-Mart in Mahoning Township.
Dawn Willis, 34, allegedly attempted to leave the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise valued at $331.69.The incident happened on April 2 at about 7 p.m.According to Mahoning police, at the time of her arrest, Willis had a pill and a half of morphine on her and a cut straw which she said was used for snorting the morphine.Police said charges of retail theft, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia are pending against Willis.
