PV student charged for threats

A Panther Valley student has been charged with making terroristic threats at the high school.

According to Summit Hill police, Matthew Keer, 18, of 214 W. Patterson St., Lansford, was charged on March 14, after he allegedly made threats at the school, stating that everybody was going to die. Police received information from Panther Valley High School, stating that the Keer was given school discipline as a result of the incident.Keer surrendered to police without incident and was charged with terroristic threats and two counts disorderly conduct. He was arraigned before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, of Lansford, and a preliminary hearing has tentatively been set for April 3.He is out on bail.
