State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating an identity theft case that was reported to them at 12:30 p.m. March 26.

The victim is Robert Bashago, 72, of 509 Strawberry St., Tuscarora.He told police someone used a credit card that was fraudulently taken out in his name and attempted to use it to purchase merchandise from the Home Shopping Network.The case is still under investigation.
