State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two-vehicle crash in Carbon County on Wednesday, March 13. It was one of two crashes probed by troopers.

Troopers said the crash occurred along SR903, just south of Weiler Road, in Penn Forest Township. Troopers said Brendon A. Kur, 30, Schnecksville, was driving a 2006 Mazda 6 northbound, while a 17-year-old male from Albrightsville was driving a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 truck southbound. The truck began to fishtail and crossed into the northbound lane. The driver's side rear quarter panel sideswiped the driver's side rear quarter panel of the Mazda. No one was injured with damages minor to both vehicles.A crash occurred about 1:17 p.m. on Monday, March 11, along SR115, just south of Switzgable Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Tanya L. Tremblay, 48, of Albrightsville, was stopped in traffic while southbound when Jose Bazil, 42, of Albrightsville, failed to stop. The front of his 2003 Dodge Durango hit the rear of Tremblay's 2008 Nissan Rogue.No one was injured. Both vehicles sustained minor damages. Bazil was cited for following too closely, troopers added.
