Historical society

The Palmerton Area Historical Society will hold its regular general monthly meeting on Monday, March 11, in the Knight's Gallery of the Palmerton Area Library.Don Eckhart of Walnutport, a Civil War expert, will be the speaker. His presentation is "Various and Sundry Topics on the Civil War."A brief business meeting will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the program.That night is also the deadline for the reservations for the May trip to the Asa Packer Mansion in Jim Thorpe.
