KATIE WARGO/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS Coaldale native and professional musician Jay Smar entertained the audience at the Summit Hill Heritage Center as part of a Coal Heritage Weekend event on March 2, 2013. His concert was a delightful mix of gospel, bluegrass, folk songs and his coal heritage songs for which he is well known including "There's Coal in Summit Hill".
