A Tamaqua man has been cited following an argument with his sister.
Officers were dispatched t 119 E. Broad St. at 11:12 p.m. on Feb. 19 for a domestic in progress. When they arrived, they spoke with Alexis Lombardo and Anthony Carlino Jr., who were outside on the sidewalk. Both reportedly said they had been visiting bars with Frank Lombardo, 21, of 119 E. Broad St., who caused incidents at two establishments. Then, as they walked to the home, Frank allegedly began throwing things on to and off different porches, punching a building at one point and starting an argument with another man.Once inside the residence, Cpl. Richard Weaver and Patrolman Karl Harig said they found Lombardo in a highly intoxicated state and the kitchen in a shambles. Lombardo said he didn't want his sister in his house. The officers noted they would ask her to leave and suggested that Lombardo get some sleep.Instead, as the officers prepared to leave, Lombardo exited the home, saying he needed to go out and buy cigarettes. He then confronted his sister and became loud and belligerent with the officers. That earned him a ride to the police station, where he spent some time in cell block 2. He was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct and later released.
