The Carbon and Monroe Penn State Extension offices are offering a pesticides update meeting on Wednesday, March 20, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the Polk Township Fire Hall on Route 209 in Kresgeville. Those attending will be able to get two core points and two category specific points, awarded by PDA toward recertification of their pesticide applicator license.
Penn State educators will be covering topics related to mixing small amounts of pesticides, pest control, tomato and pumpkin disease strategies, and insect review of 2012.Pre-registration is encouraged by calling (570) 421-6430 or email
