Walnutport Chief of Police Joseph Pennisi has announced his retirement to borough council effective April 2.

Chief Pennisi has been a police officer for 35 years and has served as Walnutport's Chief of Police since 1989."It has been an honor and pleasure to serve the citizens of Walnutport for this time as they are wonderful people and always supported myself and the police department," he said.
