A Lancaster woman has been cited by Tamaqua Police after a shoplifting incident at the Family Dollar Store, 137 N. Railroad St.

Meghan Megargee, 27, of 25 Rumford Ct., Lancaster, was observed stealing batteries, shaving gel, eyeshadow and glue, valued at $28.20. She was detained at the scene until police arrived.She was cited for retail theft.
