Shane Mulligan and Molly Betz, members of the Tamaqua Area High School "Raider" Band, have been selected to participate in the 2013 Region V Band Festival. The festival will be held March 6-9 at Bangor Area High School. Guest conductor will be Dr. Peter Loel Boonshaft of Hofstra University. Betz and Mulligan also performed at the 2013 PMEA District 10 Orchestra Festival, held Jan. 9 to 12 at Daniel Boone High School.
