Edwin Figueroa of New Tripoli is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of a traffic stop at 2:06 a.m. Feb. 2 at the intersection of Ruppsville and Grange roads in Upper Macungie Township.

Police said he was stopped for a traffic violation after which time he was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the incluence.
