The Tamaqua Area Girls Youth Softball Association has released the registration dates for the 2013 season. Registration is open to girls between the ages of 5 and 16 who reside within the Tamaqua area. Teams will be split into age groups: 5-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16.Registrations will be held Feb. 9 and Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Tamaqua Elementary School; and Feb. 23 and Feb. 24, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Tamaqua Elks.For more information, call (570) 386-2717, 778-2878 or (570) 617-0584.St. Peter's UnionThe Rev. Cheryl Moore will officiate at the 9 a.m. worship service Sunday in St. Peter's Union Church, Mantzville.
