State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County fire company.

Troopers said the Citizen's Fire Company, located at 10 Main Blvd., in Brandonville, East Union Township, was enrtered sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8. Entry was gained to the engine room. Removed were two items each of the following: fire helmet, bunker pants, bunker coats, nomex hood, set of gloves, box light, and Motorola four-way radios. The criminals also removed a portable fire radio and an 18-inch Echo chainsaw.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-874-5300.
