State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 8:08 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, along SR61 in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Linda Garraway, 60, of Saint Clair, was driving a 2010 Subaru Impreza southbound and negotiating a curve when she lost control. The Impreza struck an embankment on the west berm, then traveled across the road and struck the guard rail on the east berm.After that impact the car continued to travel across both lanes and struck the embankment on the west berm a second time.The Impreza came to rest against the embankment facing south. Garraway refused medical treatment, troopers said. Her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.Troopers added that she was cited for the crash.
