John M. Steidle, a Jim Thorpe Area High School senior, has qualified for acceptance to the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md. and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, having chosen the former. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Steidle of Orchard Lane, Jack has excelled academically and athletically at the Olympian school, where he is a member of the National Honor Society.
