A one-vehicle crash at 7:55 p.m. Dec. 21 on State Route 895 in East Penn Township has resulted in the arrest of a Lehighton man. State police at the lehighton barracks said David Griffith, 63, of Lehighton, showed signs of intoxication after the crash at the intersection of Laurhnor Road. Police said he sustsined minor injuries.

Police said Griffith was traveling on Rt. 895 when he attempted to turn onto Lauchnor Road, at which time his 2003 Jeep struck a ditch. The vehicle received moderate damages.
