On Dec. 19, in a 3-0 vote, Eldred Township supervisors approved the 2013 General Fund Budget at $659,658 and the 2013 State Fund Budget at $137,745.54, with no increase in taxes.
Sharon Solt, Eldred Twp. supervisor/secretary, said the budget is based on projected income.Clair Borger, Eldred Twp. supervisor chairman and roadmaster, said the township was able to do that because, "Unlike the Federal government, we made a few cuts."Those cuts were seen mostly in highway maintenance.
