Matthew C. Kreimoyer of Palmerton is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of an incident at 3:15 a.m. Dec. 16 in the 2500 block of Hahn's Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said it is alleged he drove a 2002 Honda Civic through a yard in the area. A homeowner witnessed the incident and provided police with a description of the vehicle, after which time a traffic stop was made in the area of Forest inn Road.After determining Kreimoyer was under the influence of alcohol, police took him into custody and transported him to the Palmerton Hospital where he was given a blood test to determine his BAC.
