The choirs of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church rehearse on Wednesdays. The children's choir meets at 6 p.m. and the adult choir practices at 7 p.m.Memorial flowers, red poinsettias with gold foil wrap, may be taken to the rectory any time after Dec. 16.Help will be needed on Dec. 17, beginning at 6 p.m., to decorate the church for Christmas.The 2013 children's weekly envelopes can be found in the church vestibule. Extras are available at the rectory.Plotkeles (Christmas wafers) will be available at all weekend Masses, beginning Dec. 2. They are also available at the rectory.Zion LewistownThe Rev. Sunny Stock will officiate at the 10:45 a.m. church service. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.Trinity UCCThe Rev. Thomas Reinsel will officiate at the 10 a.m. worship service this Sunday. The service will include a Joyful Noise Offering and will be followed by the annual family Christmas party at 11 a.m. Sunday school classes meet at 8:45 a.m.Activities for next week will include: Monday, Bible study at 7 p.m.; Thursday, senior choir rehearsal at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, prayer shawl meeting at 1 p.m.Zion LutheranThe Rev. Jeffrey Kistler will officiate at the 9:30 a.m. service this Sunday in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
