State police at Lehighton said a Monroe County man is facing charges following a domestic incident at his residence.

Troopers said on Saturday, Dec. 1, Thomas Eugene Waltemyer, 42, of 614 Fiddletown Rd., Eldred Township, was involved in a domestic incident with Anna Levonavna Airapetian, 26. During the incident Waltemyer allegedly threw Airapetian against a wall and choked her.He will be charged with assault, troopers said.
